Ramillies Medal

This silver medal was struck to commemorate the English victory against France at Ramillies in 1706. The Earl of Angus’ Regiment (later the 26th Regiment), whose Colonel was now Lord John Dalrymple, fought at Ramillies under the Duke of Marlborough.
